Hennigan Place: Where Every Home has a Story

Hennigan Place Rendering

Our newest Charlotte community, Hennigan Place, gets its name from the original Hennigan Place historic farmhouse which was built in 1845. This historic home features Greek Revival-style architecture which reflects on the history of the area and demonstrated the classic beauty associated with South Charlotte.

For years, the owners Peter and Betty Snow searched for someone to take over the upkeep and preservation of the home and property. After careful negotiation, it was decided in 2017 that the property would be sold to a developer who would ensure the home remains intact and livable. It was also promised the original Hennigan Place home would have a preservation easement to guarantee and safeguard the property for the future.

Peachtree Residential is proud to say that we are building the new Charlotte community with the historic Hennigan Farmhouse as the community’s centerpiece. We take pride in building beautifully designed and structurally sound homes for our future residents in the one-of-a-kind locations our clients call home. Hennigan Place is no different.

Located on 3503 Tilley Morris Rd near I-485 and Providence Rd, Hennigan Place is nestled on over five acres of land surrounding the historic Hennigan Place home. This stately community offers eight spacious homesites, each with one-third to one-half acre of land, including fenced rear yards. Heavily wooded areas protect the edges of the community and it’s homesites. The new homes consist of southern Farmhouse-style architecture, reminiscent of the original home rich with history.
