Peachtree Residential Is Building Energy Star Homes

Peachtree Residential  has been building ENERGY STAR homes in their communities since January 2011 permited homes. Buying a new home is one of the biggest purchases you’ll ever make and by choosing one that has earned the government’s trusted ENERGY STAR label, you can have the house of your dreams and enjoy peace of mind knowing it’s been built to meet strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

According to recent reports The “green market” is expected to increase fivefold by 2016.  Green remodeling will see the most growth, according to the new study.  Jennifer Goodman shared this information from Builder newsletter:
Green homes, which comprised 17% of the overall residential construction market in 2011, are expected to grow to between 29% and 38% of the market by 2016, according to a new study released last week at the International Builders’ Show. This equates to a fivefold increase, from $17 billion in 2011 to between $87 and $114 billion in 2016, based on the five-year forecast for overall residential construction. In addition, the reported costs of building a green home have gone down significantly. Builders report that the extra expense of constructing a high-performance home is now 7%, as compared with 10% in 2008 and 11% in 2006.

By purchasing a ENERGY STAR approved home from Peachtree Residential, you know you’re making the right decision for your wallet, for your family  and for the environment.  The new ENERGY STAR home lowers utility bills by using less energy for heating, cooling and water heating. You will also notice enhanced performance and comfort.  It ensures consistent temperatures between and across rooms as well as enhancing the indoor air quality.
