Break Out Your Running Shoes & Get Green at the 4^th  Annual “Get Green” 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, Oct. 6th.  Peachtree Residential is a member of the Atlanta Home Builders Association, (HBA).  The HBA along with the Georgia Tech School of Building Construction have teamed up for the 4^th Annual “Get Green” 5k Run/Walk.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit HomeAid Atlanta, a nonprofit organization that builds and renovates transitional housing facilities that serve homeless families and individuals in metro Atlanta.  The event is Saturday, Oct. 6^th on the Georgia Tech campus at the building Construction Annex.  Registration opens at 7am and the race begins at 8am.  The awards ceremony will take place following the race and participants will enjoy refreshments and give-a-ways.  Register online at www.atlantahomebuilders.com or download form at www.homeaidatlanta.org/news.php

The Will To Live Foundation is a public charity that works hard with teenagers, young adults and their families to help promote teen suicide awareness and to raise money for teen suicide prevention and counseling centers in the community.  They are expecting more than the 1300 participants this year. Founders Day is the annual celebration of Johns Creek’s official incorporation on Dec. 1, 2006. The city observes the anniversary on the first Saturday in December, culminating a weeklong series of events. Founders Day Parade is the highlight of the week.
